For OYO,  it is the capital coupled with Airbnb's experience in running an online hospitality business across the globe. For Airbnb, it is an entry to the East!

Airbnb has been trying to make inroads into India for a while now and this deal opens doors for them into the nation.

Could this new collaborative partnership be Airbnb's ticket to the sub-continent and also enable OYO achieve it's vision of being the largest hotel chain in 5 years? Does it also mean Airbnb is becoming more "mainstream"?
