• Successfully advising Southern Grove on a planning appeal for a 19 and 13 storey building for 144 affordable homes and two commercial units adjacent to Ealing West Crossrail Station. The appeal was successful with planning permission granted, and a full costs award against the Council imposed.
• Advising clients on the Community Infrastructure Levy Regulations including the process to be followed, reliefs available, CIL appeals and challenges to the High Court and the Court of Appeal.
• Negotiating complex highways and planning agreements with local authorities to facilitate the grant of planning permission.
• Advising developer and funder on the planning aspects of a renewable energy project which is the UK's largest planned battery energy storage project with a development value of £214 million pounds.
• Acting for a property investment company on the planning aspects of a portfolio acquisition of hotels across London to a value of circa £100 million.
• Provided specialist planning and highways advice on a mixed use scheme for more than 400 student flats in a landmark building in Bristol City Centre.
• Advising a property investment company on the planning aspects of their substantial real estate portfolio across London with a portfolio value of circa £400 million pounds.
