The Land Registry's aim to transform the conveyancing market has taken a step closer - today a borrower verified their identity digitally then entered into a mortgage deed online which has been registered at the Land Registry.
This has been part of a scheme the Land Registry piloted with Coventry Building Society and Enact Conveyancing but they are now looking to role this out and work with more conveyancers and lenders to enable this to happen for more mortgage registrations.
