Transparency of ownership of property has started.....

Yesterday, HM Land Registry announced that the public will now have access to the property ownership of any company or corporate body which owns property in the UK and such searches will be free.

At the moment you still cannot access the beneficial ownership of overseas companies but it can only be a matter of time until you will able to - we still await formal government response to the consultation that took place earlier this year on this.
